Pitch

Currently, DOXA-H UNITED does not own its football pitch. Our training sessions are scheduled at a one-time session per day for both the
U-13, U-17, and U-20. Training sessions extend between the hours of 14:30 and 17:30 from Tuesday to Friday. Our training sessions extend to cover Active Warmup with Dynamic Stretching, Variations: Progressions (first touch), Progressions (ball control), Movement, Custom Movement, Pass, Dribbling, Scrimmage, etc.
Training initiates are designed to meet members’ physical and cognitive characters, and thus our training designations extend descriptions with accompanying coaching points.The pitch resorted for training also serves the same purpose for some selected matches of the club (home matches). The pitch, which is about the usual size in standard, is located at Auntie Aku, Santa Maria, in Accra’s Ga Central district. Currently, DOXA-H United rents the pitch on a year-to-year basis, subject to renewal. Official matches of the club are played on “pay-to-use” Astroturf pitches in the district capital, Accra. We are dedicated to safeguarding the interests of our playing staff from injuries. Thus, we resort to hiring well-built astroturf pitches for most official matches of the soccer team.
